This annual event is considered to be the leading trade show of the industry. It attracts exhibitors and visitors from more than 75 different countries. At the last Frankfurt Expo in 2006 more than 3000 trade visitors were introduced to state-of-the-art production lines, injection moulding machines, disc printing and packaging equipment as well as consumables. A comprehensive seminar program offering theoretical and practical presentations and covering all production stages of optical disc manufacturing accompanies the machine show, where trade visitors can observe the production lines in operation.

Messe Frankfurt Ausstellungen in Wiesbaden has been organizing the annual MEDIA-TECH Expos in the USA and Frankfurt in cooperation with the MEDIA-TECH Association for the optical disc industry since its inception in 2001.
